The UCSB Coal Oil Point Reserve website is currently functional, but could be a bit more user-friendly. I propose a redesign, using existing content, but also adding in an interactive multi-media eco-tour. We can use the information from the tours they already give, but link it with audio/video/photography to provide a virtual tour of the area, using the google mapping technology we went over in class. The COPR also has existing webcams that could be incorporated as well.
The site would be informative/educational, and would be geared towards university students and the Goleta/Santa Barbara general public.
If this seems too ambitious, I could also see preparing only the interactive eco-tour section to add to their existing website.
